The right fit

If you’ve never bought shoes online before or are unsure about getting the right fit, the correct calf measurements, adequate boot height and instep height please have a look at the following instructions. This way you’ll be more likely to get the right fit the first time.

CALF MEASUREMENT

Our boots come with the calf measurement most women have according to their shoe size. However, if you’ve had trouble in the past finding boots that aren’t too tight or wide, measure your calf according to the instructions below and mail us the information and we’ll make sure your boots will fit.

  • When you choose your shoe size the calf measurement will automatically be defined according to the size. If you want to make sure your boots aren’t too tight or wide, please follow the steps below so we can adapt the boots to your measurements.
  • Take a tape measure and sit down with your feet flat on the floor in front of you
  • Wrap the tape around the widest part of you calf leaving no gap and take note of the measurement. If you want a snug fit for your boot, select this measurement. If you prefer a looser fit, select the higher measurement. Take note that leather will yield with time.

BOOT HEIGHT

Our boots are made with the boot height most women have according to their shoe size. However, if you are p.e. tall and want to check and make sure you have the right fit, follow the instructions below.

The boot height is the distance, in a straight line, from the bottom of your heel to the top of your boot.

  • Take a tape measure and sit down with your feet (keep your socks on!) flat on the floor in front of you.
  • Measure the length from the bottom of your heel in a straight line up the inside of your leg to the boot height. This will indicate the approximate height the boot will have on your leg. The boot musn’t fit exactly into the crease of your knee because this will be uncomfortable
  • If you wish the boot height to be longer according to your height, please indicate the desired measurement in an email when ordering your boot.

INSTEP MEASUREMENT

Our boots come with the instep measurement most women have according to their shoe size. However, if you’ve had trouble in the past with shoes that are too tight or don’t fit well due to your instep, measure your instep according to the instructions below and mail us the information and we’ll make sure your shoes will fit.

  • When you choose your shoe size the instep measurement will automatically be defined according to the size. If you want to make sure your shoes aren’t too tight or don’t fit due to your instep, please follow the steps below so we can adapt the shoes to your measurements.
  • Find your instep, which is the tallest bone in your foot that sticks up. The instep is located between the ball and ankle of your foot. You must measure two things:
  • Measure around your foot at the instep. This is where the tallest bone in your foot sticks up.
  • Measure the height of your instep. It may be easier to use a ruler instead of the tape. Measure straight up from the floor. The instep height is the distance from the floor to the top of the instep bone.
